All Volunteer Workforce The St. Luke Food Pantry could not function if not for its 20-25 volunteer workforce who serves guests each Thursday from 8:00 a.m. until noon 50 weeks a year. From October 1, 2015 to September 30, 2016, volunteers distributed over 15,000 boxes of food to over 5,300 unique individuals. With each box averaging 40 pounds, we estimate that we have distributed almost 700,000 pounds of food in the last 12 months. The St. Luke Food Pantry is ready and willing to be involved in our clients’ lives to help provide a hand up from poverty and welfare to a successful life.
